Shula's Golf Club Staff - Miami Golf

Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.

Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our members. Here are a few of Shula's Golf Club's staff members:

Kenny Fill (Director of Golf)

Originally from Miami, Florida, Kenny has been with Shula's Golf Club since 2003.  He attended Barry University on a golf scholarship where he was twice named to the All Sunshine-State Conference team. He is tied for having the most victories in a single season at Barry.  Kenny began his professional career at California Golf Club in North Miami Beach from 1998 - 1999. He later moved to the exclusive La Gorce Country Club on Miami Beach from 1999 – 2003 where he developed his background in member services and teaching.  Kenny utilizes the V-1 video golf analysis software with all of his students.  Each lesson is tailored to the student's specific needs.  Some of his professional accolades including winning the Southern Chapter Apprentice Championship, Coral Springs Pro-Lady, and Grand Palms Pro-AM.

Preston Roberts (Assistant Golf Professional)

Originally from Debary, Florida, Preston has been with Shula's Golf Club since 2009.  Preston attended Barry University on a golf scholarship and a member of the 2007 NCAA Division II National Championship team.  In 2009 Preston was named the Male-Scholar Athlete of the year at Barry.  In 2006 Preston taught at the Nike Offense-Defense Golf Junior Camp in Massachusetts.  He has been an instructor at Shula's since 2009 working with players of all skill levels while utilizing the V-1 video analysis software.  He specializes in clinics and runs the junior golf program at Shula's.

Tim Sticco (Superintendent)

Originally from Hollywood, Florida, Tim has been with Shula's Golf Club since 2001.  Prior to joining Shula's, Tim worked at the Doral Resort & Spa, Weston Hills Country Club, and Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.  He has worked closely with the PGA and LPGA tours for the Doral Ryder Open, Honda Classic, and LPGA Tournament of Champions.  He was instrumental in the renovation of the Great White course at Doral, and construction of the Tour and Player's course at Weston Hills Country Club.
